I was certain it was the Friedley RG car.....maybe we are talking about two different cars? I know someone who could shed light....we need the Honorable Mayor of Donohue to chime in.

I remember the story about the one on the farm with the vin, and trim tag supposedly being sold back in the 80s I think. The last I heard was that it had been checked on, and had been crushed a few months ago. Again, this is all hearsay.
I kinda remember a discussion on a RG car, but can't quite put it together.I know one was found in a ditch in Maquoketa, and may, again may have found it's way to Marion. I was thinking that it was FG, but between welding smoke, and paint fumes over the years, I'm lucky to remember to zip up most of the time. ![]() |
