Just did a YTD comparison for registrations and...

Pre-registered cars compared to '06 at this time; up 27
Pre-registered swap spaces compared to '06 A/T/T; up 59
Pre-registered commercial spaces compared to'06 A/T/T; up 12

Whew...this baby is really going to be awesome!

ALL of the Special Showcases are filling up, so if you have a Z16, an L78 or a Big Block Big Body, please get a hold of TC, Dave M.,John P., Mark W. or me to lock in your spot.

Bob, glad to hear that the Fall show is ahead of schedule.

With Vettefest being the next major indoor show on the "supercar" calendar, I would encourage all members to attend. The folks in and around Rosemont will make you feel welcome.

Add to it that Bob puts the sYc front and center, really makes for a nice weekend.

Bob does a great job...which is a REALLY demanding job...during move in, show hours and move out. My hats off to him...he gets it done...and done right!

I can't wait to see the coverage. I will be working that weekend...also having family in from out of town and celebrating Holly's 17th anniversary of her heart transplant (Nov. 15th) that weekend.

Thanks for the kind words. Although it is indeed a lot of work, I must give credit to the crew. They even manage to make me look good, which isn't always easy! We have been able to retain the people that really enjoy Vettefest and add some new faces that indeed make my job a real pleasure. That, combined with the fine folks of the sYc and the Rosemont crew, (actually the whole city of Rosemont is dedicated to the Convention Center and the activities that take place there) are making the comeback of this show a reality.

Congrats to Bruce and more importantly, Holly. May you and your family celebrate many more Anniversaries. Lucky you have a good excuse for not treking to Chicago in November, you wouldn't want to get on my bad side!
