69 YENKO NOVA NO STRIPES

This maybe a real stupid question but here it goes.
Why is there no stripes on this 69 Yenko Nova and why does it have a Gibb style hood?
Is this a real Yenko Nova? Sorry Yenko newb.

Its listed as a 69 Yenko under the reunion pics not just 1 time either several.

That Yenko is perhaps the most documented '69 Nova of them all. It was void of stripes when new. The hood was added as they prepped it for a past SCR. The car is now under going restoration by the SCW, with plans to have it at SCR11. I for one cannot wait to see it.

I thought 69 Yenko Novas only came in L.BLUE,G.RED,R.GREEN,F.GREEN???
That car is black right,it looks black in the pic?Is it a repaint?
Or is it the the only black 69 Yenko Nova.
Just wondering.

Black in the picture, but being restored to its special order paint, a Cadillac color I believe.

G-Dog, Did you read any of the posts above?? If not I'll repeat what's been said in 2 other posts already. It was originally a special order color,Nutmeg Firemist, sold new at Yenko...so no, it did not come from Yenko in black.
