Super Chevy Show - Maple Grove

Big block Benny won the 69 stock class with his copo and I took second in the 69 z28 class with my silver z28.It was a real nice day on Sunday a lot of show cars.

Guy, Must have been a good weekend to to own a '69. My car took Best Stock on Saturday. We enjoyed the show - you could not have asked for a better day with the weather. 3 Complaints though - had little bitty air born pieces of rubber find there way on my car's paint

,(floating over from the track) coming through the gate at 0800 took us 23 mins in the middle lane with all show cars making thier way to the field - way too much time to sit in these old cars at idle....

. AND, it cost me and the bettr half $68.00 bucks just to get through the gate....That's insane.

But - the day ended nice with some hardware...

Thanks John. I was pretty happy - pleasent surprise. A surprise to the point that I was loading my car in the trailer area and my wife calls and says - they just called your name - what should I do....LOL...it was funny.
John, let me know when you'll be up at the Harley Davidson on one of these Saturdays. If you agree to bring your COPO

I'll meet you up there with my Camaro. There's some trailer parking on the backside of the lot if your needing the space.

Sea Dog? Well, now a days its more like "sand dogs" - got my IA coming up.
Actually, was aiming for Camaro Nationals - almost made it - and Super Chevy was near my original stomping grounds, so we decided to take the trip. Yes, I never figured I'd like that RG, but man...The car gets more looks with that color than you can imagine...happy about the job, and I do need to get "my story" in....

Doesn't even look like the same car does it???? Even had the original black tag restored...

It even has that "new car" smell....
