Sounds good, but how about a little modern GM muscle? LS1 6 speed Z28, heads/cam forged rotating assembly and a dry sump oiling system. 8800 rpm power shifts. It doesn't pull a wheel stand but listen to the launch rpm http://video.ls1tech.com/search/T56R...c700ceb9d8.htm
However, I have seen this car run in person when traction was no issue, and lets just say it was on the back bumper for about 20 feet.
