I saw you as you were leaving. I wondered who that black Camaro belonged to. We were just driving by after coming back from the my brother's house for a pre-father's day get-together. Great lookin car!

Yeah, I was trying to beat the weather home that night. It seems like I'm always running away from the weather in that car. But tonight I took the 00 SS out to the Hooters cruise night and sure enough the skies opened up and we got dumped on! Tomorrow the weather looks great for Jackson Outlets cruise. Back down into the 70's and low 80's.

And what was that crack about Black cars?

Jeff,
Great car! How 'bout some more shots, OK? Not all of us hate Black.

I went to the cruise night last night but had to babysit the car all night as they were having a concert in the parking lot which attracted the usual amount of leaner/toucher/uneducated dolts that thought the cars were there as replacement support prosthetics for their weakened hip and knee joints. I guess that is what happens when you park in a handicapped parking spot (we had to park there -they were assigned spaces)

So as a result the only photos I got were of mopars. So here they are...

Here's a 1969 Charger 383 SE with factory sunroof. Neat original car sold new in Colorado.

1968 Hemi GTX four speed

1970 383 Roadrunner convertible. Nice to see the original factory hubcaps on the car instead of the obligatory rally wheels.

Night of the Attack of the Return of the Superstocks. There had to be 4 or 5 1963/4 426 Superstock cars there:

Here's a 1964 Dodge.

And a 1963 Plymouth.

Nice 1967 GTX

Amazing 1968 Hemi-powered Barracuda with monster motor.

Really nice 1977 Dodge Aspen R/T 360 automatic. 200 or so made with that drivetrain. Totally original paint, body and interior. Original engine just rebuilt and sounded really nice. It is for sale if anybody is interested. I know the owner, and the car, and the mechanic who did the work. If anybody is interested pm me. I think he wants $18,500 for it.

1971 Plymouth GTX 440 Magnum, four speed. Rare white paint scheme. I have never seen one in this color before. Looks really wild.

1970 AAR Cuda Clone/pro-tourer with late model hemi. Nice installation on the new drivetrain.

1970 Challenger R/T 440 Magnum in B7 Bahama blue. The fender tag was coded for Hemi Orange but it looked cool in the dark blue color.

Old faithful and the 20 feet of paperwork....

Here's a neat car. 1970 AAR Cuda 340 Six barrel, automatic. He was the high school buddy of the original owner of my Charger. Back in 1974 he had a 70 Hemicuda and his buddy had a 383 Cuda and Ricky Wickberg had my old Hemi Charger. Must have been a busy parking lot at the high school.

I also met another guy at the show who was the neighbor of the original owner of my car back in 1970. He was about 8 years old at the time and would bug the neighborhood guys for rides in their cars. Just to shut him up they would let him sit in the back seat and then try to scare him to death while screaming around the local streets. He remembers my car well from back in the day (and how the original owner could never figure out how to shift the trans correctly, and how he lost every race he was ever in, and how he was never really all that scared going for rides in the Charger other than the fear of crashing, since the guy was such as bad driver.... ).
