Default Re: Ontario California Street Racing

If they are going to make it illegal to have parts on a car that make it fast i.e. for racing purposes, they will first have to make selling of any non stock replacement part illegal. It may happen one day but it'll be for environmental issues I'd assume (let's hope not).

At any rate, just imagine if selling drugs was legal but using wasn't. same backwards scenario.

p.s. My car runs 11.30s at 120+ and is a street car. I NEVER race or speed on any stretch that would endanger anyone but myself. Keep it on the track!

Most everyone is older and wiser on this board. I was guilty when I was younger of doing stupid stuff, now I think about the consequences. When you are young, you think you are 10 ft tall and bulletproof, after life puts you in your place a few times you hopefully learn from it. I'd say what the ricers do isn't that far off from what most members here have done or would have if they were in the same situation. Doesn't make it right, however
