The spoke must clear the disc brakes? [/ QUOTE ] My '67 is a drum car so no caliper clearance issues. I think they'll fit disc cars though. |

Bill... DO IT! Those wheels are beautiful! ![]() [/ QUOTE ] I agree. The wheels look great, the car is super and they'll be even better as a package. ![]() Can't wait 'til SCR X so I can buy some "Cheap" race fuel. $3.29/Gal for run-o-the-mill street stuff makes race fuel seem like a bargain! Like Bruce, I ran a little in the Cub tractor a couple of weeks ago. I usually hate mowing but something was different that day. Made me ![]() ![]()

$6.25 is a little high for a street car. Imagine the look on my face a couple years ago when I went to pick up my car and the builder said, "Oh, by the way you'll be running 110 octane race gas from now on." After a few days of that I replied, "Like Hell I am!"

Same race fuel (NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE) laws in NY. Park the car on the side and use 5gal cans. Attendants WILL NOT let you pump directly into any vehicle you drive in. (tow or trailer OK) Havent seen the prices since last fall, nearest is about 40 minutes from me.
