He said the blower and heads were taken off before he got the car. The story is he go the car and it just sat, never moved. I recognized in picture of the car, the forest preserve; I used to go there when I was a kid, I think it was called Bussey Woods? The car actually looks good since I cleaned, a few minor dents and dings, all original sheet metal. The interior of the car really looks good, where those plastic seat covers put on by Ron? Also did Ron by parts from Nickey Chevrolet, because I found the business card in there? Looks like it has had a lot of engine work done, the motor looks like it was stamped ACE Machine… Looks like it is somewhere around 500 cubic inches. From what information I have, Ron bought it about 7 years after it was new. Kind of cool, it must have got a pretty good penny for it back in its day with all the work that was done.
