-------I have been wondering about that Black Tie Classics for quite awhile now, as I was semi interested in a couple of Grand Prixs they had advertised. I think my curiosity has been more than satisfied.........Bill S

I've seen some pretty nasty comments about Black Tie Classics on the Pontiac sites.

Bruce should have had a "sixth sense" about that car.. The dead giveaway should have been the dealer not allowing or wanting him to look at the car before purchasing it as stated in the article. That flat out sucks!! I hope he gets his money back and then some!!!

Was this dealer previously known as Golden classic or something like that?

Pristine museum quality would be a nut and bolt restoration. I wasn't dumb enough to buy any of our cars sight unseen and they are just nice drivers. Of course, with a description like that, the buyer has lots of legal recourse. These guys obviously don't have a clue what museum quality is. I saw the one and only Marmon 16 limousine the other night. Now there was museum quality plus. I've never seen that level of restoration before. Then again, $70K wouldn't buy the chrome trim on that car. I think that I should go into muscle car sales. Sounds like our cars are better than museum quality. I'll even let Bruce drive them.

Very interesting. I sent the article to my attorney. Imagine dealers and supposed reputable mechanics just flat out lying to people! The more of these crooks that get sued and prosecuted the better.

It would appear that Golden Classics on RT88 in Lakewood, NJ is now called Future Classics LLC.

no. no relation. Black tie has to be the absolute worst classic car dealer in the US. ALL their cars are 100% junk.. I have been there and could not believe their tactacs. I went to look at a Buick GNX when in fact it was a GN in horrible condition. When I told em it was not an X, he agreed. Said he made a mistake. what?
all their cars on the lot have flat tires and rust and weeds grownin up around em.. Horrible liers.. Cars they they ask 10's of thousands are in reality worth $1500..
