Can you elaborate as to why this car is a 'real '69 SS'? I looked at the pictures and read the description, but I don't really see any clues for it being an SS - much less a big block SS.

It looks to me like this was a factory air car and I didn't think you could get air with a L78, could you ? Check the pics of the pass. side cowl area isn't that a cut out for your air conditioning?

The cut-out on the cowl was one of the items that caught my eye. AC was not available on BB Novas, but was available on SB SS Novas.

The heater box cover is actually being reproduced, and I think that's the only BB item I saw on this car. I noticed the SB rad/holddown, no power booster, '72+ dash bezel, '71+ steering wheel with the SS emblem installed where the clock goes, etc... Just a few items that make you go 'hmmmm....'.

Any paperwork in those front seats?

Ol Boy...Basically they are gently telling you your car was not a big block car when it started life. That hole in the top of the cowl is very telling.
