I'll second that!!!

Verne, I doubt that there are few, if any, cars more deserving of a Member's Rides feature than yours. C'mon, it's an '09 4 speed, a convert, and you've owned it for 39 years....how cool is that? It doesn't have the original motor? That was hardly unusual back in the day, given the type of usage these cars were subjected to by guys like us I would sure like to hear everything you know about that beautiful ride....and I love that underhood patina, too

Kevin, I'm not sure what details I can provide that haven't already been posted. It's to be from 6-9 or whenever. I'm sure you can find your way there.

Norm, thanks for the notice about the 28th. That's too doggone far though for a Hemi Charger. It'd run out of gas!

Hey, it's not the quantity of gas, it's the quality. I used up 2/3 of a tank to go to the picnic. That was last year's supply of race gas!

Well, it was old gas anyway and I needed to drain the tank. Driving it is the most fun way I can think of to "drain" the tank anyway.

Hey, I drove this thing to Island, which a lot longer than your piddly little drive. Raced it, then drove it home with plenty to spare. My carbs are as big as your carbs!!! Ha! Ha! It must be a "gas guzzler" It should be Banned

By the way, imagine that El Camino next to me (behind me) in black(!)(the picnic) Yep, it's the same one. Only he had a 427 with a 3bbl in it at the time. That's Tom's.

Verne

This the BEST way I enjoy my car!!!!!!
