If my aging memory is correct the 428 was rated around 370 or 375 hp. Anybody know if this was the true horsepower? A 428 dropped in a first generation Firebird would be a fun ride for sure.

The 'standard' 428 was rated at 360hp, the HO version was rated at 376hp...long branch manifolds and all.
Rare car for sure, nothing like a row_your_own biggin'.
