Beautiful car; my parents bought a '69 GT500 very similar to this one brand new. Theirs was grabber blue but, had a white interior and no slats. I was always under the impression that "our car" was a SCJ because my Dad would tell people that it had the "full racing package" which I assumed he was referring to a Drag-Pak car. Having read the CJ vs SCJ comparison I guess my parents was just a CJ car since it had AC.
Sorry to ramble on about the Shelby; it's always been a dream of mine to one one like the car they bought new but, with prices like they are today I think it's going to have to stay a dream.
