Bill - Wayne's Dad recommended the remote control mirror as a safety feature. Wayne's Dad is as influential in his life today as he was back in the 60s.

Its an odd option for a hi-po Chevy. How many solid lifter cars out there had remote controlled mirrors?

Another important influence on Wayne's life back then (today too) is his little sister (14 yr difference) Rosemary. She attended most of his races and even wrote about him in her school reports.
