Absolutely beyond words! Gorgeous car and the story behind it and the history is what makes me enjoy this site more with every visit. Congrats on finding it and preserving the history along with sharing the original owner memories and pictures.

How about bringing it out in "Day 2" trim to Vettefest and being a part of our sYc L-78 Showcase November 17-18?

I know the idea of being in Chicago in November instead of AZ may be less then thrilling, but maybe Dave and Charlie can tell you how much fun it can be visiting (and eating) with some great people at the show!

Thanks go out to Bruce too, for another awesome addition to the site.

BA,

Sounds like a hoot. I have no problem with cold climes, good food, and new friends. I visited Chicago for the 1st time in March (interviewing another original owner) and absolutely loved it. Will be starting a new job in October and may be a challenge to get off. But you have my attention.

Thanks

As I've seen this car and coveted it since I first saw it at the Pavillions about 5 yrs ago, I can tell you it is one of, if not the best 69 L-78 Chevelles in existance, period, dot, end of story. I could be biased though since my first car was a triple black 69 Chevelle, bench seat, 4spd. As for all you guys offering to buy it, get in line, I have first dibs. I told Sam right after he got it that I want to own it someday, If I am ever lucky enough to get my grubby hands on it, it will be for sale only after I am long gone!! Congrats Sam on a awesome, awesome Supercar, glad you grabbed it when it popped up for sale. Great pictures by the way, as usual. I need to get a copy when I get out there.
