While shopping for a sub-frame in California a few years ago, I was told that a 68 - 74 Nova subframe would fit the first gen Camaros. There may be some minor differences, but functionally I believe this to be correct. I have seen a many of these in Western bone yards and would have to agree.

I passed up a 73 Omega sub-frame because I didn't think it was right for my 69 Camaro project. It was perfect and the cost was $66 at a pick-n-pull in Northern California. I didn't think it was correct at the time, but since found out that it was. What a bargain.
