Default Re: ARMALITE Glass????

Bud,
I don't know yet if it was a 409 car or not. All signs indicate it was originally a 3-spd car. I've logged a few government cars, F&SO or COPO, etc. and none of them were sport models. All sedans.
I did find out that the body has been gutted and media blasted, and it got a real good look-over. Nothing abnormal was found. The Armalite glass appears to be a "standard" configuration. I do recall seeing a couple replacement windshields or back glasses that were the Armalite brand. My best guess at this point is that perhaps the car suffered vandalism at some time and all the glass was broken out, then replaced by the insurance co.
