The only way i would even consider the car now budnate is if a 3rd party was willing to mediate the deal..give him the $$ he could look the car over and and make sure its ok, pay for it and hopefully store it till the shipper arrives!! Thats the only way i can think of because trust is out the window!!

I wouldn't say it is too much. Especially way too much seeing it brought only $1000 less on Ebay.
