that is all B.S the local deal fell threw and ebay would not let me stop the auction or relist it now .so what can I do

Well at worst, you should have offered the car to the high bidded at the auction price before you moved on to sell the car elswhere. There is no reason not to offer the car to him NOW at his price...The reserve , if there was one , was met.

THIS is just one reason I never bid on cars on eBay. The deal is rarely straight up and in the open..
