Default reverse gills

Hi Folks:

Does anybody have any knowledge on reverse gills. I just bought a 69 427 coupe w/ac, car has phase III flares and wrap around front chin spoiler, 4 screw lemans cap(just like the one on the orange car that just surfaced, and car "had" fastback rear window and reverse gills. Prior owner "removed" rear window (rear deck never cut) destroyed layback rear window fiberglass in the process, also cut out reverse gills and replaced with stock gills. Lucklly, he saved the reverse gills.

The question I have is this, these gills have a steep angle to them, all photos I have seen of the reverse gills on motion cars they look to be standing fairly straight up and down, has anybody seen a set on a motion car with an angle?

Please nobody get to excited, I'm pretty sure this is a catalog car built back in the day, as the car hails from the west coast, does have the correct block and alternator though, a solid frame, and it needs a bunch. Any help wouild be greatly appreaciated.

Hey Joe:

Yep you met me at Log Cabin, and yes I still need to talk to you about the boat trailer getting blasted.

I have not posted picture of the reverse gills yet as I am a COMPUTER IDIOT.

I will be at Log Cabin tommorrow night with my bike and trailer, I'll bring one of the gills with me as well and show it to you. Still have my cell #? If not, pm me and I'll get in touch with you.
