We have made a couple of minor changes for SCR10.

Most have to do with fees, which have been the same since SCR1.

Entry fees for the supercars will remain the same, but no longer will the fee include a banquet ticket.

Gate fees for the racing and indoor show have been increased. Also there will be a small fee charged this year for anyone racing (members get a discount).

To get back to the original intent of the event, no longer will replicas of "supercars" be allowed to participate at the track, nor indoors on Saturday. As in the past, they are more then welcome to be part of the Gateway Camaro Club's outdoor show on Saturday. This does not mean that members are no longer encouraged to bring something to race, even if a non-supercar, just not a replica of a "supercar".

If so, I may be bringing two. Also if so, what are the guidelines/stipulations?

Yes, as space permits.

Why are you singling out "replicas", which I guessing also means clone or tribute cars? I was very much looking forward to attending and participating in this event. I figured I wouldn't be able to attend the indoor show, which is understandable. Unfortunately the closest my wife and I will ever be to getting a real Supercar is the tribute car that we have. That doesn't mean our spirit, appreciation, or understanding of what a real car is, has been lessened. Your statement that "anything but replica of a Supercar" is welcome makes me feel like we've done something wrong by owning this car. Just my opinion.

IMHO, I prefer not to pull 16 hours to the Premier SuperCar show in the country to look at 'tribute' cars that I can see at any local weekend show. I go to the SCR's to see the real deals, plain and simple, I don't care if there are 5 real cars or 105 real cars - I'll be there and I'll be racing!

M, I couldn't agree more...

I personaly feel clones are ok,just not at a reunion..I see a clone just got some ink that was at SCR9...Why not a real Yenko instead? There were several there! I think the history of the cars is the best part. How cool is it to see two cars back to back as they were 40 years ago at Yenko? I don't get that thrill from a clone......

Steve, Marlin, and others who read this,
I am not trying to pass our car off as the real deal, and I'm not looking for equality with the real cars. Our intent was to come out to show and see the real cars, show our car with the Camaro show, and race the car on Friday. We also wanted to go to the banquet to meet everyone. What I am upset about is because our car has a Stinger hood, and Baldwin Motion Stripe we can't race it.
