That would be my AMC.

73 Hornet "AMX", Mello-Yellow, 1970 390/727 drivetrain, 16" Americans blah-blah.

By no means a super car, but a lot of fun and it has A/C too!

I will be doing the whole tour with my son Ian.

How old is your son?
Did my first PT with my then 14 year old, we had a blast. He's now 18 and graduates high school in a couple of days. When I asked him a few months ago what he wanted to do as a senior trip he said " I want to do PT again with you, dad !" This time he can drive, so I can shoot pics

Enjoy your time together.

Ian is 22 and we have been doing car stuff together since he was a baby. He is as big a "Car Nut" as I am and has his own small collection of cars. (Yes...they are Tuners!)

We have talked about doing the tour for the last 5 or so years and last year we were all signed up when my Mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We lost her shortly thereafter. (May 18, 2006)

This time, we have everything in order and the time scheduled off work. I am counting the days and we look forward to seeing many of you!

Spoke too Soon......Took the car out today and got about 40 miles from the house and it just "Quit" running.....got a Flatbed to come and pick up Me and the Car and after waiting for 2 hours and a $180 ride back home I pulled out My "NEW" Accel HEI Distributor and put the stock GM HEI back in and it started right up......didn't check it out yet but either the Coil or Module failed.....I'm sure when I read the fine print in the Warranty they will make good on everything .....Right!!..........Yeah ......But on the Bright side ....at least it happened before we left next week for the Power Tour ......Can't beat stock GM parts
