I am pretty sure, as in 100% sure, the red '67 conv that sold yesterday was a 390hp setup, at least that's what the air cleaner decal showed...

[/ QUOTE ] Different car that sold during a commercial break, lot 714.

If nice 67' 435hp cars ever drop to 100K, I'm going shopping.

Real, documented 1967 435's are still strong. Two sales I know of recently are both roadsters and born with engines, one restored one unrestored. I know both cars well. One was at 400K and one was at 275K. Another '67 435 roadster is for sale locally at 200K and is a wonderful, documented, born with engine car.

I rode over to PB Saturday on my Victory and it seemed like the magic price bracket was between $70k and $80k. There were some nice rides, but honestly, the quality (IMHO) just wasn't there on many of the cars I looked at. Many of the small things like sanding scratches, trim parts that looked crappy, etc. Very crowded though with lots of people who sure didn't know much about muscle cars. I was there in 2004 and it was much better, this year was kind of disappointing.
