My 69 L78 has the original BW coded 4:56 12 bolt it was born with, in 69 you could get anything,..... [/ QUOTE ] That is unusual. Very few BW axles in 69 Camaros (I think I've seen paperwork, but never the actual axle). In 69, it required a COPO # and it truly did reduce the # of axles ordered.

So I guess it would be safe to say, the likelyhood of finding a BX housing with a date code to make the car correct would be damn near immpossible?
The more I think about the car I am looking at it is what it is-a very nice street car-accept it at that or forget it? Ty ![]() |
