Couldnt believe my eyes when I saw this one!
The latter owner of this vehicle was Pro-Stock Chuck, who ran this car with a destroked BB and a stroked SBC under the 400 CI number. It ran a powerglide.
Even the paint scheme was still the same for years.
GOD! It had the Dick DeMets' Race Cars sponsor name on it ! I believe that shop was over in the Hawthorne/Torrance area. Man I'm gettin old...
As I recall it was a constant competitor to the PAK-RAT Vega Wagon ran by the guys over at Downey Service Center, Ronny Markum I believe his name was!
This Vega Wagon was my first time workin on a drag car!
