Yes, I agree, so there is some discrepancy here. According to Colvin's By The Numbers, the CPH suffix code is 71 LS5 only. There is no listing for that code used on an LS6 engine.

went by machine shop today the machinist said the 4 bolt caps were origional they match the block perfectly at all groves and it is a origional deal not a made up block someone just got lucky whith there vette
