Looks like it was an LS5 block from a 71 Vette.

3963512 1969-71 427 335, 390, 400, 425 COPO, 430, 435,
454 345, 360, 365, 390, 425, 450 2&4 bolt just as some 350 s got 4 bolts instead of 2 I guess this block also has the large oil line holes and I dont think it would have been tampered with its been in a barn for 25 years and the old man I bought it and the car off of didnt know anything about engines

According to Colvin's By The Numbers, the CPH suffix code is 71 LS5 only. There is no listing for that code used on an LS6 engine.

went by machine shop today the machinist said the 4 bolt caps were origional they match the block perfectly at all groves and it is a origional deal not a made up block someone just got lucky whith there vette
