[ QUOTE ]
Some time back I remember us looking at a drivers side photo posted or linked by someone of a Citrus deuce sitting in a driveway and wondering if it was real or not. I believe it was from the same area in Illinois... It was a recent photo. I'll have to dig thru the search... You remember this M? When discussing the photo we did reference that it was not Bob's car... [/ QUOTE ] I have been told by a friend that the father of the young man that has the Yenko Deuce in Ottawa, Il now says it is a clone. I will find out for sure. Now that I know the one that I started the thread about is accounted for here is some info. James Ohlendorf ( the tall lanky kid in the 2nd photo) was the second owner of the car. A guy named Bomgarts bought in new I believe at Lehman's. He hit a mailbox with it and somehow Jim's dad (owner of Ottawa engine ended up with the car and it eventually went to Jim). Jim raced it a few times at Oswego and ran some 12.70's spinning the tires hard through first. I am going to see Jim this weekend and I am going to see if he has any interesting stuff on the car.
