Marlin, Neat car... man its clean! Do you ever get worried pushing her to the limit while maintaining its restoration/originality? -Dan [/ QUOTE ] Well, I am always conscience about hurting something, and therefore I don't push it to the 'limit'. A little burnout here and there shouldn't hurt anything. Not to mention, when you've restored your own car, having to fix a thing or two once in a while is nothing compared to the 5-6 year resto! I finally found the correct part number and date coded fuel pump after a 6 year search - it leaked ![]() As for the drift during the burnout, I steered to the left to avoid some water up ahead. My deuce does very straight burnouts, and I never go farther than first gear - no need for an embarrassing 'powerslide' like that Z28 at SCR9 ![]() I'm anxious to get to the track this spring to see how it runs down the 1/4. I guess Dan and I will need to square off at SCRX with one of his concourse COPO Chevelles ![]() ![]()
