[/ QUOTE ] Far from an expert! Just really impressed with the sound. Just loud enough. Motor sounded real strong when the R's came up. I am sure it breathes alot better than the original style pipes. Wait till he puts the Doug Thorley's on!

I'm not sure if they build a system for the corvair, but they would probably give it a try.

As for HP gains, each car is different and the folks at Pypes are wise enough not to make promises - but rather focus on their quality and technology. For example, their systems don't give that annoying resonance like the others, nor do they sound like the tinny shotgun-in-a-can. The system is engineered to fit nice and snug so that it can't be seen from the side (see the last pic in my link) and the tips look factory stock - one of the main selling points for me.

When the weather breaks, I will visit my local track to check out the performance gains!
