Check out the cool tow car, a circa 1975 street rod.

My first car was a 59 VW Bug, with 36 Hp. This one, with it's transplanted 454 has a few more.

A Z28 going down the return road. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Excuse the quality on this photo. I posted this one because this all black 69 Super Bee with red Bumble Bee stripe was a real screamer. Pretty sinister looking. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

This Maverick was sponsored by Car Care in North Vancouver. These cars, along with Vegas and Pintos with V8s always looked they had too much motor. Bulging hoods, and headers hanging down gave the impression that they were just crammed with motivation.

This Camaro was sponsored by Gladstone Motors on Kingsway. Looks a little twisted in this photo. They were a used musclecar dealer that occasionally had nice cars.

Ok, I was out of town for a few days, so I'll add a few tonight.
This photo is of an Austin A40 that was a Vancouver fixture for years. He drove this regularly on the street, and it was Big Block powered. Black with blue pearl flames made it a striking car. Sorry for the poor quality. ![]() |

Another fuzzy night shot, of a Willys, though not a streeter.
