What does the Post Office have to say? They estimate 4 - 6 weeks delivery, it's now been 13 weeks, and they cannot prove it was delivered? I would *like* to believe you could file a claim with them for non-delivery. That may be too optimistic [/ QUOTE ] Bill this is the best part... I went to the post office with my receipts on Monday. They said that once the item leaves the US their not responsible. She said "your out of luck". What an opportune time for ME to go postal! Yeah Dave I know now. Like I said I listed the items international by mistake. Figured I'd take a chance and that's just what I did. ![]() Perhaps the buyer was wise to this and that's why he hit the Buy It Now. With no traceability after leaving the states what a scam huh? I'll never be able to prove anything only that the package left the US. Hey Paypal how about refunding only half for my documented effort? ![]()

D. the guy got ya, that scam has been going on for a couple years now, your story is why I don't take paypal anymore, the buyer can get his dough back way to easy and paypal wont even answer e mails from the seller they just blow you off, total bs. and buyer still gets the item, even though they claim it never showed.
US postal service told me the same thing a couple of years ago, gets even funnier, they make the receiver fill out the lost insurance form, try this one out, you have to convince the guy to go waste a couple hours to fill out paperwork for you!, that went over like a tird in the punch bowl, sorry you got hosed. paypal is a great idea but for some reason they run it like a holes. Your screwed. It has happened to me before too. In fact, one time I sent a package in the US without delivery confirmation. The buyer left me feedback for the item. Then 2 weeks later claimed they didn't get it. I had a reqipt from the post office showing the package being sent to his ZIP a day after auction close, the feedback, as well as Ebay messages from him stated he received it. They would do nothing without a delivery confirmation. All packages now get delivery confirmation and all Canada packages go UPS Canada Standard. It is a crap shoot with international but for the most part deals seem to go well when shipped USPS Air Parcel Post. The slow boat is asking for trouble.
Was it an expensive item? Sorry to hear about the trouble, Jason |
