That will teach them Pete.No killing but we had two young guys attack a Sr. in our home town about 3 years ago he was 71 at the time.Little did they know he was a golden gloves champ and boxing trainer for 40 years. He beat the crap out of both of them. Most Sr. up her have the big 4" spike on their canes now. Say it is for the ice. Right. That would do a number on a person

Good thing the senior citizen wasn't in the USA when that happened or he'd undoubtedly be in jail now

You are right there Bill. Apparently he warned them both that he could take care of himself to leave him alsone and the entire town so we thought knew his back ground. Every time you would pass him on the street up went his hands and he would shadow box with you laughing. He is just a real nice guy. I think that is what probally kept him from being charged not to mention the fact he probally goes 140 fully dressed at about 5 foot 7.Both young guys were over 200.

“All of the guests involved, who had booked the cruise together as a group, have opted to continue with their vacation plans."

Serves him right, any a$$hole who preys on Senior Citizens deserves a thrashing.

[ QUOTE ]
But Ligia Herrera Mendez, the mother of the dead assailant, claimed the tourists of took the law into their own hands.

“We want justice, this can’t go unpunished, because they could have saved him,” she said in an interview in Limon. “If this had happened in the United States, the suspect would have been detained and wouldn’t have left the country.”

[/ QUOTE ]

As for if it had been in the US... it wasn't! Good riddance.

similar thing happened to my neighbor who is a pilot. he and his older co pilot were walking along when the older man was accosted by a would be mugger while on layover in some tropical country I cant recall. my neighbor, Capt. Charlie, said "I'm a New Yorker, and I'll be doing the mugging" They beat the guy slightly and he ran off. Gotta take a stand every now and then, but when someone is waving a gun around, THAT takes some mighty fuzzy coconuts!!
old guys rock!!
