I wouldn't have as much a problem paying taxes if the gov't was a good steward of your tax dollars. I know any profit I make is not going to go toward fraud, waste or abuse, can't say the same about uncle Sam. I am in the military and despite our best efforts the amount of waste that happens would blow your mind. I think for the most part the majority of folks in the military try and make good use of the taxpayers $$ but beauracracy being what it is there is still an incredible amount of waste that just happens. So if I can avoid giving the IRS $$ I'm going to push the envelope of the tax code. The more you pay the more congress will want, they'll never have enough to satisfy all their interests.
