...Not that it bothered me at the time, but the name "Demon" caused alot of bad press from the Evangelicals who disapproved of it...
I remember once when Dad's new '71 Polara was in for dealer service they laid a new purple 340 Demon on us for the weekend.. Of course this included church on Sunday and we parked at the back of the lot so no one would notice we came with the Demon!. As far as the new Demon goes, it looks too much like a warmed over Crossfire...no thanks.. ~ Pete ![]()
