That Chevrolet advertising design first came out in 1970,not before.
They continued with it well into the next three decades. Try to post a close up pic of the bowtie here,as it may be able to tell the decade. It's far away, but looks more modern to me then 1970. Try looking on the bottom border for a date code resembling something like CE 77 for the maker/year.That being window trim,it might be double sided.Blue is usually unstable from the get go,so there probably showing heavy sun fade more on one side then the other. Neat piece...any illuminated signs inside? |

These are single sided, and sun faded. They measure about 22" square. I will look for a date when I get back home. As for other signs, - we found none except as shown in the photos. There is still the large red neon sign for "S.M. Rose" about 2 blocks away on Fordham. It think it was on their showroom, You can still see the drive up ramps. The building is now a carpet store, and the sign has no relevance to the store's name. The odd thing is that the neon is illuminated 24 hours a day. I guess someone forgot to turn off the switch!

Personally, I'd guess they're from the early 80's, maybe late 70s.

No dates to be found. No matter from the late 70's to early 80's - a nice addition to the garage wall.
Thanks for the replys
