I know of at least 2 Monoco Orange LS-6's in the Wisconsin/Minnesota area and 1 or 2 from out state. I believe I have 3 listed in the registry.

------I have seen a very low mileage (4000ish) Monaco Orange LS6 70 Chevelle in very southern Indiana. Low optioned. Hasnt been out of the original owners garage in over 30 years and is partially disassembled, but never touched with a spray can. Have been loosely trying to buy it for at least 20 years with no luck......yet........Bill S

Thanks Howard, Rick and all for taking the time to respond and post!.
Sure looks like the 926-#'s refer to the Dupont colors...funny how one is noted on the tag and the other -- when both are refering to a 926 #...different plants?. Anyone have any idea what the "9 FC145C" on my '67 Biscayne tag would denote...the GM Canada documents does show this and lists FC145C (no 9) as Special Custom Color...nothing more (it's black)...again this is the tag that has 'RED TAG RCMP' on it yet no mention of this part in the GM Canada Docs?. And Dave, I always felt similar that orange looked out of place on '70 & up Chevelles too...but I'm starting to feel otherwise especially after seeing that '70 w/ black top and stripes, it looks really great!!!. Happy you're back too Dave...welcome home! ![]() ~ Pete
