The brake fluid was before my time for sure. I did armour all the pedal covers, once, that was an experience.

Both Armour All and Pledge are silicon based products. Any silicon based polish, whatever the name, will give the same results. I've used Murphy's oil soap on vinyl when I didn't have anything else, but it doesn't shine like silicon.
BTW, silicon is also a lubricant, hence the slide. ![]() Great stuff, considering that they make gaskets and caulking with it as well. As with all chemicals, read the label carefully. ![]()
