Wow - the bidding hit just north of 101K, after which the seller posted that he was not going to entertain any more offers. He was just going to let the auction run its course. Guess he changed his mind, since he closed the auction just 10 minutes ago...

We have an Apollo White GSX non Stage 4 speed with A/C. All original Sheet Metal with one repaint. It is a super nice driver. Needs Nothing. Fully documented, available at $75k.
I won't have pics till after the Vette Fest, but you can call for info/description. Not many with 4 speed A/C combo. |

"...might as well just pull the tags, and save money in hauling..."
Then what???? ![]() --------- Nice to know of GSX's that aren't yellow!. The original GSX Prototype was white wasn't it...and had the unique wing?. ![]() ~ Pete |

The GSX Prototype car is Apollo White. In 1970 you could only get a GSX in Apollo White or Saturn Yellow. 687 total made that year. 400 and some yellow cars and the rest were white. Of those 687 GSX cars, about 2/3 were Stage 1 455s and the the rest were standard 455 cars.
The GSX prototype car does have a different hood, rear wing and other small differences. The interior on the prototype car is very radical compared to production X cars. Patrick |
