I have had one throw it off at idle.......Seriously, here in the SOUTH, they did not throw them as bad. Must be the humidity.

[/ QUOTE ] thnx Marlin that brought back memories,,Dad liked them, we had a real nice Turbo car and a beater driver for buzzing around in...anytime Dad would get on it, we all looked over to see the red Gen light come on,*&^%$# belt...coast over to the shoulder, Dad had it down, he would get it close and yell for me to bump the ign a little and we were off again in a minute or less...I dont think that car ever had a Ign key in it either he left it in some position and it just turned on, those were the day's...box of cracker jacks and a drive ![]() |
