Hi Steve:
That picture is of a NOS one I just sold. Had it for 20 plus years. I originally bought it from a guy who purchased it for his 69 BBC camaro but it would not fit.He thought I may have better luck with it on my 70 chevelle or BBC impalas.
No go. I have since sold it to a vet collector who indicated exactly as you said due to the different manifolds on the vet that is why it was vet only.
Interesting however is the fact 66 impala l-72 has the same manifolds as the vet 827/828 so it would probally fit that impala only.I actually had a 66 l-72 biscayne at the time but never tried it since she was not giving me any problems like the chevelle was.Playing with the starter shims also fixed the issue on the chevelle.
