Drop your party affliation and look at the situation objectively.
I voted for Bush in 2000 but he and his administratiion have accomplished nothing positive in our country and the world. He has stirred up a hornets nest in the middle east and overlooked almost everything domestically. In my opinion he is the worst president we have had since Richard Nixon. And by the time he is done he will surely surpass Nixon.
Maybe you do not know what is going on with the bugdet deficit but Bush , et al have been pushing through record spending bills to fund the war in Iraq under the desguise of " emergency spending ". If those hundreds of billions of our tax dollars were included , like they should be,the true picture of how deeply in debt Bush has put our country would be obvious.

[/ QUOTE ]Trust me if PRES Bush desquised anything it would be on the front pages or a cover story on every media outlet. fact is the BOZOs you vote for are spending all of there time and our money bashing OUR PRESIDENT, and maybe you forgot MR. CARTER or i suppose you think he was a great president,if Mr. Clinton would have done his job when he had the chance we wouldnt be in iraq today, you cant find anything that has been acomplished by this administration, CNN everyday for you i guess the Communist News Network, i think the media should report the story (THE WHOLE STORY) not just the bits and pieces that keep people like you happy, If you need a plane ticket one way somewhere i will be first to pitch in,

Gentlemen, please!
Politics is like the stock market, everybody is right while everybody is wrong. This is why nobody can corner the market, or make this into a one party country.
Both parties have had their chance to dominate, and either party can make a strong case for the others failures.
No wonder we have never ending problems. This country always unites in times of crises, such as 9/11, and devides in time of crises like the war in Iraq.
I am more historically inclined than politically or emotionally. Please read this:

No politician will ever get elected by talking common sense. Todays politicians are elected by negative campaign adds, and digging up dirt or "Gotcha" stories.
What would this presidents two terms have been like if the Demacrats had a Ken Star to waste the taxpayers money on George and Dicks shady business deals before they were elected. Or were they elected?
This type of politics has got to stop, so that the real problems can be resolved or fixed. IMHO
Just my .02

SMGCO -

I think you might have been baking in the California sun a little too much. If you do not view the items I listed as being positive for the country and for the world I really don't know what to say to you. Those are major positive items that you are going to completely dismiss and that is just not right. You paint a pretty broad stroke yet do not get into specifics. It's an easy to complain about this and that but when you don't back it up with facts it loses all creditbillity.

As Rich pointed out you are completely ignoring Jimmy Carter, but as you stated, it is your opinion so you have the right to state what ever you please. Funny thing though, until we came to Iraq, Saddam would have sent a squad over to your home or business and had you and your family tortured raped and murdered for your comments implying he was the worst leader his country has had since the 70's. Today the people of Irag are free to say anything they want. I can not see how you overlook the positive aspect of that but hey that's your opinion right?

Let's take a look at the worldwide HIV/Aids problem. In three short years the number of people worldwide that receive life saving drugs has grown from 50K to over 800,000 through the Emergency Plan for Aids Releif that the US started and solely supports.

The Middle East has been a hot bed for a long long time. Always has been and always will. Does that mean we turn a blind eye to it and let it go on or do we try make a difference so the people over there can at least share some of the rights that people over here have and sometimes take for granted as well as keeping the terrorist at bay as much as possible.

I understand what is going on with the budget very well. Did President Bush just get in front of the American people and tell them he successfull in his pledge to reduce the budget deficit by 50% by the year 2009 and did it 3 full years ahead of schedule? Did he also state that he would be submitting a plan that would reduce it entirely in 5 years?

I was born in Washington DC and grew up in the suburbs ( I have sinced moved to a farm out in the country). I have many friends on both sides of the aisle. I am all to familar with what goes on inside the Beltway with both parties and it's called politics. It's been happening in Washington DC since the days of George Washington.

Again these are some of the examples of what you deem the worst President since Nixon has accomplished since he has been in office. Doesn't seem to bad to me at all.
