Good comments Rich. If you dare, can define 'Pedigree'? Are there degrees of 'Pedigree'?

Good comments Rich. If you dare, can define 'Pedigree'? Are there degrees of 'Pedigree'? [/ QUOTE ] I would imagine it would consist of a real car with no issues or rumors surrounding it, no gaps in ownership or miraculous resurections from the dead with no restoration photos to back it up (rebody). A car that has been known through a series of legitimate owners or one owner for an extended period of time. Real original paperwork and photos from the original owners. Legitimate low mileage that can be corroborated/documented by registration or warranty paperwork. Personally I'd prefer an unrestored car with a bunch of original grease, dirt and oil on the bottom so you could definitively say no one has messed with it over the years. I've never bought a finished car in 30 years of playing with these things. I always prefer the "diamonds in the rough." That way I know what I'm getting into. |

I undrstand that the 1969 Corvette that Terry Carney owned sold for over $100,000. It was a very nice car with great ownership history and paperwork.

That's great news Tim.

I wonder how his War Bonnet Yellow Vette and Judge did.

I heard they did OK, not as well as the '69 Corvette. I understand that they brought $33,000 for the '73 and $66,000 for the Judge. They were both very nice cars, Terry offered the '73 to me in the low 30's and I always thought that was a good car at a fair price. I was temped to drive it home from Road America last summer, that was the first time I saw the '73. I'm sure it will be at Bloomington going for Benchmark soon.
