Let me also add that the no-sale of ZL1 #36 was a disappointment. I like many others (including the owner) thought this car would break the 7 figure mark. It says nothing about the car, but only that the guy with the million in his pocket there wanted a Cobra instead!

I posted this in the "other events" forum, but this thresd is more active-
Here is a link to the shots I took at the Mecum auction last week.Almost all were of the Camaros being sold.On most of the cars I tried to get a shot of the car, then the auction description, trim tag, and then any misc. shots of the car. They are not all in order, but mostly follow this format. Billy http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=lyn...815&Pres=Y

Tom, the turquoise Gibb/Harrell bid to 165 with a reserve north of 200.
Over all I thought the prices were strong with the good cars bringing top dollars and the not so good just sitting there. There appeared to be a lot of pressure on the owners to lower the reserves if the auction company thought they were close, I'm sure at that point they were negotiating lowered selling commissions. The best buy I saw was a 69 HO Z-28 that had been through all the judging at Carlisle and scored 92% sold for $84,000. The car was super nice and very correct. Most all the problems discovered at Carlisle had been corrected. Reserve was $90K but lowered on the block to get the sale.
