Default Holley 4604-S 3 barrel 1030 cfm

Hi All,

As you can see I'm a newbie on this board. I don't join boards to sell things. I'm really not into the supercars, but as an old rodder going back to the '50's (and just getting back into it at 65), I have a love of performance history. The 4604 I have is an unbelievable find and I'd like to see it end up on authentic Yenko or Baldwin Motion car because that's where it belongs. The best description I can give is that it looks like a two year old carb thats come through a time warp. It doesn't look new, but it doesn't look far from it. It's dated 951 (first week of May, 1969) and it is 100% complete and original. Even the Holley inspection stampings are still on it.

If there is interest in it, I'll post pics and details on it. Its going on eBay this Sunday (Jan 28) at 6 PM PST. I assure you I am not posting this information anywhere else and I am very sincere in wanting to see this carb on a restoration. It's not going to end up on some kids 350 because frankly the reserve at $800 will prevent that. It has a couple of very minor flaws and that's it. Even the plating on it looks fairly good. If there is interest, please let me know. Thanks, Art

Default Re: Holley 4604-S 3 barrel 1030 cfm

Just a little extra info. There are 2 different 3 barrels. The "common (?)" 3916, that flows 950 cfm, and the 4604-S, that flows 1030 cfm. The info about them being on some Yenko cars came from Holley tech support, and Joel Rosen supplied the info that 4604-S's were on a few Baldwin Motion cars as well as one of their race cars.
