Put this up again as surprising no reponse,
I have had an enquiry from someone looking to pick up a set of Corvette ZL-1 L-88 racing flares, front and rear, that have been moved around in storage since 1971. They are green gelcoat with part numbers in grease pencil on each flare and some still have the old computer punch cards stuck to them also with part number. Obviously never been used. He wants to make me an offer and dosn't want to insult me, I have no idea what to ask. Not a robber baron, but don't want to give them away. And if anyone is interested the fibreglass quality indicates that Chevrolet thought their life span would be around months not year. Thanks |

Saw a set in Florida last week, they were asking $1000. I think they did not sell.

If you saw a set you should have gabbed them.
Was offered pre boom 2000 from a historic racer who knew what they were. Around 1998 How do you know they were factory and not Ecklers repos which actually sell for over 1100 last time I looked around 1996 |

Do they have GM part numbers glassed into the back side? Identical copies (except for the part numbers of course) are available from FGREGGRACING.com.....
