[ QUOTE ]
I think I recall the dates of the engine were much later the car.... maybe not... [/ QUOTE ] engine pad stamp indicates correct "numbers matching" block "Car was delivered Dec 1st 1969 to a Atkin;s Chevrolet in Wayne NJ." Not a "Baldwin" car. Hopefully Joel will come through with the mods his shop did. Didnt most "BaldwinMotion" cars have their original motors replaced with something larger? A "shop" car could have any mods made to its original motor. ![]() |

Wayne NJ is only about 50 miles from Baldwin New York. That put the car in a prime area to be worked on at the Motion shop. Also I wonder if dealers transfered cars much in those days? If Baldwin needed a car to sell, that's pretty close. Would the NICB report show a dealer transfer or just show the original dealer? It will be interesting to see Joels info. m

NICB documents would not show a dealer transfer, only dealer that the factory shipped the car to.
