If Ford was sponsering this auction, perhaps they stopped
the GM guys from entering and bidding.

B/J Now we have a Yenko vette that went for 210.000

The "Yenko" corvette has a really cool story and I am shocked my friend did not buy it consider he owns the twin to it. Mike Summers who drove the Best Photo '66 Corvette M22, L72 from Yenko Chevrolet was given the car to drive as a daily driver. It was optioned in the same colors as the Best Photo car. My friend who owns the Best Photo car, has a binder full of photos of the cars together. It does not have the original motor, but it sure is a cool example! Nice money too.

Will be going to Atlantic city in a few weeks It will be interesting to see if Ford Dominates There
I think It was Bow Tie that said there was a lot of bogus cars there this year
I guess People think it is it’s a mustang you cant go wrong
Also where did all these low mileage cars come from and how do you know what is the real mileage All I can say is something is going on out there

I was trying to think back as to how many times they stalled
the auctions to hype-up some of the Ford cars. Something fishy?

I don't think anything is fishy this year. Chevy's are just down this year. I hate to say it but it is true.

I talked to a driver for an auto transport company several years ago, he said that for several years, he would haul a car or or two back to AZ. after some of the BJ bidders raised hell after a purchase. According to him, it was not unsual for BJ to buy back some cars.

Steve,

Probably a case of acceptable losses! B-J still wins big!
