Sorry, my mistake...given that your price is about $9,700 high, I thought you were just posting a BS price to get around the site rules. I see you have it on ebay...it will be interesting to see how close it gets to $10K. Which btw, I hope you get as I have 3 of them that I have purchased within the last 2 months

Mark, at $10K each, if you had a couple more of those crankshafts you could pay for the resto on the black '67!

I here ya Tex! 3 cranks would definitely cover the body and paint costs!
Jonesy, I got your check yesterday. Thanks! Joey, we're all just bustin' your chops a bit in good fun. The 822 crank was used for years in 283's and it has the exact notch etc. as the Z crank...so, there are thousands of them out there. Colvin's book only lists it as the Z crank so that is why everyone that finds an 822 thinks it is from a Z. In fact, a number of real '67 Z's had a 6764 crank from the factory...which is another 283 crankshaft. All of the guys here who have responded have real '67 Z's, so that's why they are commenting ![]()

There were more than 602 5822 crankshafts made. I bought mine for $300. Alot of these crankshafts are out there still. You find them on ebay all the time. Good luck with your sale
