I see you have it on ebay...it will be interesting to see how close it gets to $10K. Which btw, I hope you get as I have 3 of them that I have purchased within the last 2 months

Mark, at $10K each, if you had a couple more of those crankshafts you could pay for the resto on the black '67!

Joey, we're all just bustin' your chops a bit in good fun. The 822 crank was used for years in 283's and it has the exact notch etc. as the Z crank...so, there are thousands of them out there. Colvin's book only lists it as the Z crank so that is why everyone that finds an 822 thinks it is from a Z. In fact, a number of real '67 Z's had a 6764 crank from the factory...which is another 283 crankshaft. All of the guys here who have responded have real '67 Z's, so that's why they are commenting

There were more than 602 5822 crankshafts made. I bought mine for $300. Alot of these crankshafts are out there still. You find them on ebay all the time.
